Inlet Performance: Pressure Recovery and Distortion

Optimize Engine Power: Enhance Aircraft Performance with Inlet Precision – Perfecting Pressure Recovery and Minimizing Distortion

Calspan’s Aerotest Laboratory can provide test services to characterize pressure recovery and distortion for rotorcraft inlet systems.  Tests can be performed in a freestream or continuous flow, static, blower facility.  The Calspan Channel 10 transonic wind tunnel is capable of high speed flight conditions suitable for modern tilt-rotors.
