Watch your test happening at Calspan from anywhere you can connect to the internet. With our new and improved, highly secure hi-definition cameras, this service will allow you to watch your test live from the comfort of your desk or while on the road. The service will allow you to have real-time visibility to our team during set-up and will save you time and money on travel expenses so you can witness the test from your desk, all while being delivered via a highly secure system.
How it works:
- Contact your Calspan representative to be set up in our secure-system
- On your scheduled test day, look out for an email from Calspan with your login credentials
- Login credentials are unique to each viewer and test slot. Note: If you have multiple days of testing, a new password will be sent of each new day of testing to ensure security.
- During your test, login to our “Test View” system to monitor test preparation of your seats from the comfort of your internet connection. The Test View system will have 4 camera angles set up for maximum visibility.
Security
Maintaining confidentiality is of the utmost importance to us. Each time you test with us, you will get a unique encrypted link to view the test. Once your testing has terminated for the day, your link will also expire.
FAQ's
Q: Is there an app that I can use to watch the live stream?
A: Yes, you can download an Apple or Android app depending on your preference.
Q: Who will be able to see the live stream video?
A: The only way to see the video is to have an account set up by Calspan. Each individual will have their own username and password to access the system.
Q: When viewing the live video feed from Calspan, how can I interact with the team setting up the test?
A: Contact us to discuss any questions you may have with the setup. There will not be any audio used with the video feed, so you must call Calspan.
Q: What if I missed something, and wanted to replay the video from the live stream?
A: Due to security and confidentiality purposes, this camera will not be recording any video footage. The purpose of the camera is to show a live feed of the seat setups.
Q: Is the video data stored somewhere where I can access it in the future?
A: No video footage will be recorded or stored from this camera system. However, like always, you will have access to the video footage collected during the test via our HD high-speed cameras that are located on the sled itself.
