Calspan specializes in designing, manufacturing, assembling and testing of prototype mechanical and electro-mechanical systems and components for the Aerospace and Marine industries. Our design and manufacturing facilities and processes are structured to develop one-off products in a quick turn environment. We can deliver a wide array of products and services with short lead times within a quality system that is registered to both ISO 9001 and AS 9100. Calspan's in-house capabilities include 3D CAD modeling, structural analysis, a full CNC machine shop with turning and milling capability up to five axis, wire EDM, composite design and fabrication, instrumentation, electronics and software design, and field support by our engineers and technicians.
Prototype Fabrication
Calspan's facility is uniquely equipped to support one-off and low rate production items. Our equipment and resources have been acquired for the sole purpose of supporting first articles.
Advanced Materials
We have gained extensive experience supporting our Marine customer base in the fabrication of components using experimental or advanced materials.
Flexible Service
