Autonomy Flight Test Center of Excellence
The Calspan Autonomy Flight Test Center of Excellence is headquartered in a state-of-the-art 80,000 sq. ft. hangar facility on the Niagara Falls, NY, International Airport (KIAG). Our facility is equipped with a System Integration Laboratory (SIL), control room, and antenna farm and sits on a large, underutilized airport adjacent to the Misty Military Operating Areas (MOA) over Lake Ontario.
Surrogate Test Platforms
All of our aircraft are internally and externally configured as Surrogate Test Platforms.
Open Systems Architecture
Our aircraft are equipped with an Open System Architecture (OSA) to make it easy for our customers to integrate their systems with our programmable flight control systems.
Run-Time Assurance
Our aircraft are equipped with Run-Time Assurance (RTA), allowing a safe reversion to the base aircraft's flight control system for troubleshooting or return to base.
