Newport News, VA – February 27, 2019

Calspan Systems Corporation in Newport News, Virginia is proud to announce its NADCAP accreditation for superior standards in Composite Core Processing.  The NADCAP (National Aerospace and Defense Contractors Accreditation Program) process accreditation is audited by a third-party and covers all aspects of planning, execution, monitoring and control for conformance to strict technical specifications.  In addition to Calspan Systems’ existing ISO9001:2015 and AS9100D certifications, the NADCAP accreditation will allow the company to provide composite components that meet the requirement of AC7118 Rev. F to aerospace prime contractors.

Congratulations to the NADCAP Accreditation Team!

“NADCAP accreditation is a clear demonstration of our ongoing commitment to quality, continuous improvement, and process excellence,” said Steve Long, Vice President of Operations.    “Additionally the NADCAP accreditation shows our customers and industry that Calspan Systems possesses a high level of technical proficiency in its composite processes.”

The recent NADCAP accreditation will allow Calspan Systems to expand their business in the composite aerospace sector that already includes the manufacture of various composite products for military and commercial applications.
