NBAA-BACE 2018 – Booth 2093
Calspan will be exhibiting at the 2018 National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (BACE) this October. This three day event provides current and prospective business aircraft owners, operators, and industry personnel an opportunity to connect. Calspan will have representation from its FAA Part 145 repair station and avionics department at the event.
Calspan is home to an FAA Part 145 certified repair station, located in Niagara Falls, NY. This repair station performs maintenance and modification on Learjet, Gulfstream, Beechcraft, and Cessna aircraft. Calspan’s repair station is vertically integrated into its world-renowned flight research program, meaning that the same mechanics, technicians, and support staff responsible for providing support to the U.S. Air Force Test Pilot School will be supporting your aircraft needs. Calspan is able to perform major inspections and repairs and has onsite machine shops capable of custom mechanical, composite, and metal fabrications. There is no repair too big for Calspan to manage.
The avionics team at Calspan works with each customer to make sure that the equipment installed meets all requirements and special requests. Our in-house staff of aerospace engineers are on hand to develop solutions to unique challenges. Typically tasked with research and development projects, they remain ready to step in for any customer should the need arise. As a certified dealer for Garmin, Gogo Biz, and Rockwell Collins, Calspan is able to install, repair, replace, or upgrade equipment in a way that is proven by manufacturers. Our team is fully capable of installing ADS-B In and ADS-B Out. According to Federal Regulations, all aircraft must be equipped with ADS-B Out, by January 1, 2020 to fly in most controlled airspace. The proximity of Calspan’s repair station to the Niagara Falls International Airport allows for easy access to amenities and competitive fuel prices at the FBO, which Calspan also manages.
