Calspan is thrilled to be exhibiting at the AIAA SciTech Forum.
AAIAA SciTech Forum has been delivering aerospace research and technology findings that have driving innovative developments for more than 50 years. This conference provides scientists, engineers, and technologists the opportunity to present and disseminate their work in structured technical paper and poster sessions, learn about new technologies and advances from other presenters, further their professional development, and expand their professional networks that furthers their work.
For three days, Calspan will join over 50 other exhibitors who also provide services to help shape the future of aerospace at the Gaylord Palms Convention Center.
Calspan’s staff will be sharing information about our abilities to aid in research, design, and testing of aircraft. Calspan offers a variety of services to assist in developing new aircraft, from the development and fabrication of force measurement balances and model positioning systems, to wind tunnel models and wind tunnel testing.
Calspan’s Force Measurement Systems develops state-of-the-art internal and external balances, and model position / motion control systems. Our expert staff specializes in the development, analysis, design, fabrication, instrumentation, calibration and integration of balances and model positioning systems. Our Force type balances provide unique capabilities not offered by other types of balances.
The Subsonic/Transonic Wind Tunnel at Calspan is the only independently owned wind tunnel of its type in the United States. Our experienced staff and capable facility have been successfully partnering with government agencies and aircraft manufacturers for over six decades. Our continued ability to focus on data delivery and customer expectations have enabled a continuous evolution of the services that we offer. Our wind tunnel capabilities also include the ability to build detailed wind tunnel models for a variety of uses and purposes.
