Calspan operates a fleet of highly-capable airborne testbeds, including a pair of Gulfstream G-III's, four programmable Learjets, and the X-62A Variable stability In-flight Simulator Test Aircraft (VISTA).
Gulfstream G-III's
Calspan Gulfstream G-III's are known as the "Swiss Army Knives of Airborne Testbeds".
Programmable FBW Learjets
Calspan's programmable FBW Learjets are equipped with an Open System Architecture and Run Time Assurance, allowing them to safely morph into manned and unmanned Surrogate Test Platforms.
X-62A VISTA
The X-62A Variable stabilty In-flight Simulator Test Aircraft (VISTA) is the most capable in-flight simulator in the world.
